Le hameau de Beauvoir est situé sur le canal du Quennon, l'une des trois rivières qui se jettent dans le golfe du Mont Saint-Michel, à environ 2 kilomètres en amont de l'embouchure. Ce village côtier n'existe que par sa proximité avec la célèbre île du château. On y trouve des parkings payants et gratuits, quelques restaurants, un hôtel et apparemment rien d'autre d'intéressant. Mais je ne m'y suis pas promené longtemps ; après être resté plus d'une heure dans la voiture à cause de la pluie battante, nous avons longé le canal jusqu'à la chaussée qui relie le continent à l'île du Mont Saint-Michel.

The hamlet of Beauvoir is located on the Quennon Canal, one of the three rivers flowing into the Gulf of Mont Saint-Michel, about 2 kilometers upstream from the mouth. This coastal village exists solely because of its proximity to the famous castle island. There are paid and free parking lots, a few points of public catering, a hotel and, it seems, nothing else interesting. However, I did not walk there for a long time; after sitting in the car for more than an hour because of the downpour, we went along the canal to the causeway connecting the mainland with the island of Mont Saint-Michel.

Деревушка Бувуар расположена на канале Куэннон - одной из трех рек, впадающих в залив Мон-Сен-Мишель, примерно в 2 километрах вверх по течению от устья. Этот прибрежный поселок существует исключительно благодаря близости к знаменитому острову-замку. Здесь есть платные и бесплатные автостоянки, несколько точек общепита, отель и, кажется, больше ничего интересного. Правда, долго я там не гулял, просидев из-за ливня в машине больше часа, мы отправились вдоль канала к дамбе, соединяющей материк с островом Мон-Сен-Мишель.
