J'ai préparé un voyage dans le nord de la France dans les règles de l'art : j'ai soigneusement préparé la voiture et le matériel photo, je me suis renseigné sur les prévisions météorologiques... C'était sans compter sur le fait qu'il y a deux Monts-Saint-Michels sur la planète, et que l'un d'entre eux se trouve au Québec, au Canada. Hélas, j'ai vu la météo de là-bas et j'ai tablé sur du soleil, un ciel sans nuage et une température allant jusqu'à 30°C. En effet, lorsque je suis arrivé dans la Manche, le ciel s'était ouvert et il pleuvait à verse. C'est dommage, bien sûr, mais ce n'est pas la première fois que je fais des photos sous une pluie battante. Cela a juste pris beaucoup plus de temps pour traiter les photos, qui étaient assez nombreuses.

I planned a trip to the north of France in the best possible way: I carefully prepared the car and the photo equipment, I checked the weather forecast... But I didn't count on the fact that there are two Monts-Saint-Michels on the planet, and one of them is in Quebec, Canada. Alas, I'd seen the weather forecast from there and was banking on sunshine, cloudless skies and temperatures of up to 30°C. In fact, by the time I arrived in La Manche, the skies had opened up and it was pouring with rain. It's a shame, of course, but it's not the first time I've photographed in pouring rain. It just took a lot longer to process the photos, of which there were quite a few.

К поездке на север Франции я готовился по всем правилам: тщательно подготовил автомобиль и фотоаппаратуру, выяснил прогноз погоды... Вот только не учёл, что Мон-Сен-Мишелей на планете целых два, и один из них расположен в канадском Квебеке. Как назло, прогноз погоды я увидел именно оттуда и рассчитывал на солнце, безоблачное небо и температуру до 30°С. На самом же деле над Ла-Маншем к моему приезду разверзлись все хляби небесные. Обидно, конечно, но снимать под проливным дождём мне не впервой, только потребовалось гораздо больше времени на обработку фотографий. А их, несмотря на отсутствие хорошей погоды, набралось немало.
